The American Red Cross hired us to produce their national TV and radio campaign, “Change A Life”.  This campaign has been airing for several years now and has earned over $70 million in earned media from cable and network operators across the country.  This campaign has been so successful for many reasons and the feedback from the news directors on “why” these PSAs have received so much donated time has been because of the high-quality production and positive messaging of the public service announcements.

Before hurricane season we produced a series of four PSAs and a one 4-minute compilation video for the American Red Cross that focused on past relief efforts during hurricane strikes. We interviewed four different families whose lives were dramatically altered by some of the major hurricanes to hit the U.S in recent years.  The edited PSAs and video told the story of how each of these families were helped to get back on their feet through the relief measures provided by the American Red Cross.

On the non-broadcast side, RaffertyWeiss Media has produced close to eighty local and national fundraising campaign videos for the United Way of America, the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area and Global Impact.  Our genre of fundraising videos have included two-minute online web videos asking donors to consider making a matching gift to producing a five minute scripted humor piece engaging a larger federal government donor audience to consider giving a percentage of their monthly salary to a cause of their choice.
