RaffertyWeiss Media has produced a variety of capital campaign videos, marketing and training videos for all levels of secondary and higher education.

RaffertyWeiss is an educational video production company that has produced creative videos and commercials featuring students from age 5 to 75, as well as teachers and administrators at all levels. Our personal experience as parents of school-aged kids helps us to understand the issues at hand, and bring out the best in the students, teachers, and administrators seen in our educational video productions.

American University called upon RaffertyWeiss Media to produce a capital campaign video that helped raised $300 million to help rebuild the infrastructure and buildings on AU’s campus.  We incorporated sound bites from administration, students, alumni and major donors to the university to help tell the story of American University.  Also, for American University’s Washington School of Law we produced a marketing/recruiting video to inform and engage potential law school students to consider the internationally acclaimed law school located in the heart of Washington DC.

For Georgetown University we have produced several Martin Luther King honoree videos that have featured John Thompson III, Colin Powell and Rosa Parks to name a few.  These three-minute biographical videos were shown at the Kennedy Center’s Concert Hall on Martin Luther King holiday to an audience of thousands.

For the Madiera School in McLean, VA we produced an anniversary video celebrating Madiera’s centennial.  Using alumni from across the country, current Madiera students, teachers and administration we told the history of the school and how the school is moving forward in the 21st century.  In addition to the celebration video we produced an additional video highlighting memorable moments of past alumni at Madiera.   The stories told by Madiera alumni varied from emotional to funny to thought provoking.

For the Washington Jesuit Academy (WJA), a middle school for at-risk young men in Washington DC, we produced a compelling and impactful fundraising video for this unique school.  WJA educates academically talented adolescent boys from low-income families, providing them a disciplined, rigorous learning environment.  It was our creative strategy to use students, parents, teachers and a few donors to tell the story of this amazing school.  WJA has been using this fundraising tool to introduce private donors and foundations to their school which has resulted in raising millions of dollars to educate this under served population of Washington DC.

For Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School we produced a fundraising video about this special Archdiocese of Washington high school highlighting their educational experience.  Students at Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School have limited financial resources and dream of going college. All the students participate in the Corporate Work Study Program at Don Bosco where they gain professional work experience and earn money to pay for a portion of their education.   Through on-camera interviews with teachers, priests, students and local employers we produced a interesting story about this catholic high school.
